S.E.Railway Sarbajanin Durga Puja Samity
Year -2011

This year the S.E.Railway Sarbajanin Durga Puja Samity celebrates their 65th Year. Right from the very beginning, the local residents have been actively involved in their sarbajanin durga puja. In fact; the ambience of our Puja is such that instead of visiting other Pujas, many choose to spend the entire day in the pandal, catching up with friends, family& relatives. Anjali, on the three days of Puja, is repeated at least 5 times to cover the huge attendance.

The Cultural programs in the evenings, where residents as well as renowned artists perform, are always houseful. Over 4000 residents from 1500 flats in S.E.Railway colony have lunch together in the pandal on Aushtami (aushtami Bhog). Even during 'bhasaan',Thousands of residents of S.E.Railway colony’s people walk behind the truck carrying the idol, in order to bid adieu to the Goddess. In other words, it's a Puja like no othe

On its 65th year, S.E.Railway Sarbajanin durga puja will once again reflect traditional Bengali artistry from a completely new perspective. Needless to say, this will be a huge draw for residents and non-resident visitors alike. Along with the regular puja events, there will be cultural programs, games, quizzes, contests, rides for children, and various other attractions for the entire family on all 7days of Puja.

On this auspicious occasion of DURGOTSAV-2011, we shall be raising funds to support all the activities that we have planned this year. Like previous years we will be publishing a Souvenir on the occasion of Durgotsav. The Souvenir will provide to our sponsors an unique opportunity to canvass their products and services and also help us in raising funds to support the social activities throughout the year. We also have other avenues of sponsorship like Corporate Stalls/ Banners / Gates and Sponsoring our Cultural Programs for which details can be provided on request.

We hence earnestly request your kind patronage and support for DURGOTSAV- 2011 - through booking advertisement space in souvenirs and also in other forms (banners, stalls, sponsorship of events, etc).

Yours Faithfully
